25 LC 129 0421 House Resolution 873 By: Representatives Cox of the 28th, Jasperse of the 11th, McDonald III of the 26th, Barrett of the 24th, Clark of the 100th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Loga n Otteson on winning the 2024 Gy mnastics State1 Championship in balance beam; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, Logan Otteson of North Forsyth High School earned the top title in the state3 with her balance beam win in the 2024 Gymnastics State Championship; and4 WHEREAS, this stellar young woman epitomizes the courage, determination, leadership, and5 character necessary to attain excellence in athletic prowess and performance; and6 WHEREAS, her months of training been rewarded with an impressiv e win, and it is7 appropriate that she holds the title of champion; and8 WHEREAS, Logan's victory was the culmination of a season of hard work, dedication, and9 excellent sportsmanship; and10 WHEREAS, her superior skill, strategy, stamina, and control have earned her the respect and11 admiration of her teammates and challengers; and12 H. R. 873 - 1 - 25 LC 129 0421 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the superlati ve abilities of this13 accomplished and gifted student-athlete, as well as the pride, honor, and respect she has14 brought to herself, her school, and her community, be appropriately recognized.15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16 the members of this body recognize and commend Logan Otteson on winning the 202417 Gymnastics State Championship and extend best wishes for success in the future.18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to20 Logan Otteson.21 H.
