25 LC 129 0474 House Resolution 916 By: Representative Townsend of the 179th A RESOLUTION Commending John "JT" Marshburn on his election as Secretary of the College Republican1 National Committee; and for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, John "JT" Marshburn, a native of Athens, Georgia, and a student at Georgia3 College and State University, has been elected to serve as Secr etary of the College4 Republican National Committee (CRNC), a distinguished national organization dedicated5 to engaging young conservatives and fostering leadership among college students across the6 country; and7 WHEREAS, the CRNC, founded in 1892, is the oldest conservative youth organization in8 the United States and serves as the official collegiate youth arm of the Republican National9 Committee (RNC), playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the conservative movement;10 and11 WHEREAS, John Marshburn has demonstrated exemplary leadership, dedication, and12 commitment to the values and mission of the CRNC, working dilig ently to advance13 conservative principles and empower the next generation of leaders; and14 H.
