A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
To amend an Act creating a board of commissioners for Tift County, approved August 9, 1917 (Ga. L. 1917, p. 396), as amended, particularly by an Act approved March 28, 1985 (Ga. L. 1985, p. 4875), so as to revise purchasing provisions; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION 1.
An Act creating a board of commissioners for Tift County, approved August 9, 1917 (Ga. L. 1917, p. 396), as amended, particularly by an Act approved March 28, 1985 (Ga. L. 1985, p. 4875), is amended by striking Section 10A and revising Section 10 as follows: "SECTION 10.
Purchasing and Bidding Procedures.
The board of commissioners shall be the purchasing agent of Tift County and shall purchase any and all things for the use of the county. Purchasing and bidding procedures shall be done in accordance with a purchasing and bidding policy adopted by the board."
SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
