Senators Parent of the 44th and Jones II of the 22nd offered the following amendment #3:
Amend the Senate Committee on Education and Youth substitute to HB 127 (LC 61 0259S)
by deleting the quotation marks at the end of line 66.
By inserting the following after line 66:
<ins>(h) Beginning July 1, 2025, no public elementary or secondary school in this state shall use
the Confederate States of America battle flag or any other name, image, or likeness which
represents a rebellion against the United States of America or a movement that has called
for the dissolution of the United States of America."
