Senator Halpern of the 39th offered the following amendment #20:
Amend the Senate Committee on Education and Youth substitute to HB 127 (LC 61 0259S):
by inserting after line 66 the following:
<ins>“(H) Nothing in this Code section shall prohibit any music education program from
recognizing the Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, jazz music, or ragtime music innovated the
essential American sound before the advant of rock ‘n roll.”
