Code Section 40-2-74 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to license plates for persons with disabilities, is amended by adding a new subsection to read as follows: "(d.1) Any person who qualifies for a license plate pursuant to this Code section and Code Section 40-2-62 shall, upon proper application on a form established by the department for such purpose and payment of a $25.00 manufacturing fee, be issued a license plate which displays an image of the International Symbol of Access and the image for license plates issued pursuant to Code Section 40-2-62." SECTION 2. This Act shall become effective on January 1, 2027. SECTION 3.
