# Sen Floor Amend 1 AM 48 0062 to HB 222

WITHDRAWN
Senators Robertson of the 29th, Jones of the 10th, and Gooch of the 51st offered the
following amendment #1:
Amend HB 222 (LC 48 1345) by replacing lines 1 and 2 with "To amend Title 17 of the
Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to criminal procedure, so as to revise certain
bond holding requirements; to require the inclusion".
By inserting between lines 6 and 7 "Title 17 of Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to criminal procedure, is amended by revising division (b)(1)(E)(ii) of Code Section 17-6-15,
relating to bail tendered and accepted, by replacing "$1,000,000.00" with "$500,000.00.".
By replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following:
SECTION 2.
Said title is further amended by revising Code Section" and by redesignating Section 2 as 3.
