# Sen Floor Amend 1 AM 61 0032 to HB 451

ADOPTED
Senators Setzler of the 37th, Anavitarte of the 31st, Harbin of the 16th, and Dixon of the 45th
offered the following amendment #1:
Amend the Senate Committee on Education and Youth substitute to HB 451 (LC 61 0491S)
by replacing lines 32 through 34 with the following:
<ins>(3)(A) If the released time course is not held on the property of the public school in
which the student is enrolled, transportation to and from the location of the released
time course, including transportation for students with disabilities, is the responsibility
of the student or his or her parent or legal guardian; and
</ins> By replacing lines 47 through 49 with the following:
<ins>(6) A local education agency may permit released time courses to be held on public
school property under a neutral policy of equal access opening such public school
property for use by community groups; and
</ins>
