Not legal advice. version: Sen Floor Amend 1 AM 39 0515 version_id: amendment:2025-2026/hb61/246839@246839 --- # Sen Floor Amend 1 AM 39 0515 to HB 61 LOST Senator McLaurin of the 14th offered the following amendment #1: Amend the Senate Committee on Public Safety substitute to HB 61 (LC 63 0073S) by replacing lines 135 through 137 with the following: accommodations were provided on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis; provided, however, that a guest who resides in a room for 90 days or more in a 100 day period of time shall be deemed to be a tenant under Chapter 7 of Title 44. For purposes of this paragraph, the term 'resides' shall have the same meaning as set forth in Code Section 16-7-21.1.
