L. 1981, p. 3597), as amended, so as to increase the2 compensation of the mayor and councilmembers; to provide for re lated matters; to repeal3 conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 An Act to provide a new charter for the City of Broxton, Georgia, in the County of Coffee,7 approved April 6, 1981 (Ga. L. 1981, p. 3597), as amended, is a mended by revising8 Section 2.3 as follows:9 "Section 2.310 The mayor shall receive as compensation for his or her services $625.00 per month. Each11 councilmember shall receive as compensation for his or her services $425.00 per month. The12 mayor and councilmembers shall also be entitled to be reimburse d for their actual and13 necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties."14 H.
