## Summaries written by Georgia Commons

The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Georgia House resolution honors the life and memory of Gladys Nunnally and offers condolences to her family after her death.

### Plain-language summary

This is a ceremonial resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives, not a change to any law. It recognizes the passing of Gladys Nunnally, a Georgia citizen, and praises her character, family devotion, and community involvement.
The resolution formally expresses the House's regret at her passing and directs the Clerk of the House to prepare a copy of the resolution to give to her family. It does not create any new rule, program, or funding; its only effect is the symbolic honor and the instruction to distribute a copy of the document.

### What it does

- Formally expresses the Georgia House of Representatives' condolences on the death of Gladys Nunnally.
- States the House's recognition of her character, family devotion, and community involvement in a series of whereas clauses.
- Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to prepare and distribute a copy of the resolution to her family.

### Who it affects

The resolution directly names Gladys Nunnally's family, who will receive a copy of the document. It also involves the Clerk of the House of Representatives, who is tasked with preparing and distributing that copy.

### Why it matters

The resolution has no legal or regulatory effect; it does not change Georgia law, create funding, or impose requirements. Its practical impact is limited to providing a formal, written expression of sympathy that the Clerk will send to the Nunnally family.

### Key provisions

- The resolving clause states the House joins in honoring Gladys Nunnally's life and memory and expresses regret at her passing.
- A further resolved clause directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to make a copy of the resolution available for distribution to her family.
