A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life and legacy of Keith B. Winslow; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Keith B. Winslow began his illustrious career in the music and entertainment
industry in 1969, starting out as the valet and road manager for rock-n-roll legend Little
Richard; and
WHEREAS, he was a skilled salesman and promoter, known for his tireless dedication and
vast knowledge of entertainment across all genres of music and broadcasting networks; and
WHEREAS, Keith B. Winslow was know as loved as “The Boss of the Beach” as the disc
jockey at WPIQ (101Q) and WKBX radio at the Kings Bay Submarine Base in Brunswick,
Georgia; and
WHEREAS, in 2022, Keith was inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame in St.
Louis, in recognition of life-long dedication to radio broadcasting; and
WHEREAS, Keith Winslow passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2025, forever being
remembered for his dedication to his work and as “The Boss of the Beach.”
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body honor the life and legacy of Keith B. Winslow and extend their
deepest condolences to all who know him.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
family of Keith B. Winslow.
