of the 76th
A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Lovejoy High School Varsity Game Day Cheerleaders for winning the
2025 GHSA 5A Game Day State Cheerleading Championship Competition; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, the Lovejoy High School Varsity Game Day Cheerleaders have established and
maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;
and
WHEREAS, this superlative team has completed its triumphant season by winning the 2025
GHSA 5A Game Day State Cheerleading Championship Competition; and
WHEREAS, through their extraordinary efforts, this dynamic team, comprised of Seniors,
Hannah Best, Jennifer Darko, Asia Evans, Ce’ Maya Hardy, Jayden Henderson, Ny’Zhirah
Loyal, Jackson Lundy, and Kimora Timothy; Juniors, Amiyah Cotton- Levy, N’Kyrah Dious,
Trinity Dunn, Latrell Prowell, and Morgan Woods; Sophomores, Amirah Beasley, Khloe’
Harrison, Alexis Hayes, Chloe’ Heard, Imani Neeson, Aniyah Nicholson, Ayonna Vallot,
and Ke’Ari Warren; and Freshman, Elle Carter, Kaiden Duncan, Kamiyah Ferguson,
Tay’Lour Mickens, and Londyn White; has had an undefeated season, led by Head
Cheerleading Coach and Program Director Megan Washington and Assistant Cheerleading
Coach Kalvin Montgomery; and
WHEREAS, their accomplishment of winning all of their regular season competitions,
advancing to state finals, and becoming the 2025 GHSA 5A Game Day Cheerleading
Champions-the first GHSA state cheerleading championship title for Clayton County Public
Schools-was achieved through their hard work, dedication, commitment, and countless hours
of practice; and
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is
abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate the Lovejoy High School Varsity Game Day
Cheerleaders for winning the 2025 GHSA 5A Game Day State Cheerleading Championship
Competition and extend best wishes for their continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Lovejoy High School Varsity Game Day Cheerleaders.
