of the 142nd, Herring of the 145th, and others
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team has earned the distinction of being
the best Junior League team (14-year-old boys) in the United States and the right to compete
for the World Series Championship against Chinese Taipei; and
WHEREAS, this superlative team continues its triumphant two year journey in Junior
League competition by posting an outstanding record of 24-5 over two seasons, as well as
winning Intermediate World Series, Junior League World Series, two District Five
Championships, two Georgia State Championships, and two Southeast Regional
Championships; and
WHEREAS, the team brought special recognition to the state of Georgia by capturing the
United States Junior League World Series Championship; and
WHEREAS, this all-star team includes Jayden Cannon, Jaiden Center, Kaiden Harvey,
Stephen Grogan, Micah Harris, Jaxon Jones, Cole Johnson, Brady Molton, Carter Justice,
Charlie Kemp, Benton Wilson, Bo Terry, and Warren Easom; and
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding
athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the
team; its superb offensive and defensive talents; and the astute direction of Head Coach
Lance Foster and Assistant Coaches Harold Wilson and David Mullis; and
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is
abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate The Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team for one of
the most accomplished Junior League runs in Little League history and extend best wishes
for their continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to The
Vine Ingle Junior Boys All-Star Team.
