By: Representatives Alexander of the 66th and New of the 40th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Alicia Bonner; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Alicia Bonner has long been recognized in the state of Georgia as passionate
and driven entrepreneur, CEO, philanthropist, and community leader; and
WHEREAS, in 2026, she retired from GreyStone Power after 23 years of dedicated,
memorable, and highly respected service; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure, her exemplary service was recognized by many prestigious
awards and honors, including a nomination as Most Inspirational in 2008, Honors of
Appreciation in 2011, a nomination for Business Associate of the Year in 2022, as well as
several certificates for consistently going above and beyond; and
WHEREAS, through her custom framing company, Messages, Alicia brings people closer
together through her inspiring and uplifting messages, prints, and pictures; and
WHEREAS, a woman of deep and abiding faith, Alicia is an active member of The Day Star
Tabernacle International Church in Douglasville, Georgia, where she serves in various
leadership roles such as head of the Christian bookstore, general secretary, and oversees the
Kingdom Business Monitor Announcement Ministry; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her church leadership, Alicia serves her community by assisting
with the Vend and Vibe events, supporting Royal Accents Events Management wedding
ceremonies, and regularly donates and volunteers with the Freedom House Women’s shelter;
and
WHEREAS, as full time care-giver to her elderly mother, Alicia has proven herself to be a
person of exemplary strength with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, fairness, and
kindness; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Alicia Bonner for her unwavering
dedication to serving the state of Georgia and extend sincere best wishes for her continued
health, happiness, and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Alicia
Bonner.
