A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the Lambert High School Boys Tennis Team for winning the 2025 Georgia
High School Association Class 6A State Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Lambert High School Boys Tennis Team represented Lambert High School
in the 2025 Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 6A tennis season; and
WHEREAS, the team demonstrated exceptional competitive skill, consistency, and discipline
throughout the 2025 season and state tournament; and
WHEREAS, at the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Championship match, the Lambert Boys
Tennis Team defeated Walton High School by a final score of 3-2, securing the 2025 GHSA
Class 6A State Title; and
WHEREAS, this championship victory stands as a testament to the dedication of the
student-athletes, the leadership of the coaching staff, and the strong support of the Lambert
community; and
WHEREAS, the team's performance brought great pride to Lambert High School, Forsyth
County, and the State of Georgia through their example of sportsmanship and excellence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend the Lambert High School Boys Tennis
Team for winning the 2025 Georgia High School Association Class 6A State Championship
and congratulate them for their outstanding athletic achievement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to
Lambert High School and the Lambert High School Boys Tennis Team.
