A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the West Forsyth High School Girls Tennis Team for winning the 2025 Georgia
High School Association Class 6A State Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the West Forsyth High School Girls Tennis Team represented West Forsyth
High School in the 2025 Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 6A tennis season;
and
WHEREAS, the team demonstrated exceptional competitive skill, consistency, and discipline
throughout the 2025 season and state tournament; and
WHEREAS, at the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Championship match, the West Forsyth Girls
Tennis Team defeated Walton High School to secure the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Title;
and
WHEREAS, this championship victory stands as a testament to the dedication of the
student-athletes, the leadership of the coaching staff, and the strong support of the West
Forsyth community; and
WHEREAS, the team has brought great pride to West Forsyth High School, Forsyth County,
and the State of Georgia through their example of sportsmanship and excellence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend the West Forsyth High School Girls
Tennis Team for winning the 2025 Georgia High School Association Class 6A State
Championship and congratulate them for their outstanding athletic achievement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to West
Forsyth High School and the West Forsyth Girls Tennis Team.
