A RESOLUTION
Commending the Georgia Business Aviation Association; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA) has a long and consistent
record of service to the community and this state and has been recognized as one of the most
dynamic and committed civic organizations in Georgia; and
WHEREAS, GBAA is dedicated to fostering strong relationships across the aviation
community, helping connect aviation professionals and organizations, encouraging the
exchange of ideas, and promoting the highest standards of operational excellence; and
WHEREAS, GBAA works closely with the National Business Aviation Association to
advocate for the interests of business aviation operators at local, state, and federal levels to
provide insight on regulatory and legislative matters; engagement with airport and
government authorities; educational programs promoting safety, compliance, and best
practices; and up-to-date industry information for members and stakeholders; and
WHEREAS, a core pillar of GBAA's mission is education and workforce development; to
date, the association has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships supporting
professional pilot education, maintenance technician and engineering training, continuing
education for current aviation professionals, and industry courses and certifications; and
WHEREAS, GBAA has established a glowing reputation of renown throughout Georgia for
continuing innovation in the industry and remaining steadfastly committed to the principles
of skill, integrity, and responsibility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commed the the Georgia Business Aviation Association and extend
sincere best wishes for its continues growth and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Georgia Business Aviation Association.
