A RESOLUTION

Recognizing the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter (CAI-Georgia) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Georgians living in community associations, including homeowners' and condominium associations throughout the state; and

WHEREAS, CAI-Georgia serves communities representing more than 2.5 million residents across over 11,000 community associations in Georgia, whose members collectively invest billions of dollars annually to maintain and enhance their neighborhoods; and

WHEREAS, CAI-Georgia advances education and leadership development for volunteer community leaders and industry professionals, promotes sound governance and responsible community management, and supports professional standards among those who serve community associations; and

WHEREAS, CAI-Georgia actively engages in constructive legislative advocacy, working collaboratively with policymakers to promote effective, balanced public policy that protects homeowners, strengthens communities, and supports economic stability across the state; and

WHEREAS, the efforts of the Community Associations Institute - Georgia Chapter contribute significantly to the well-being, sustainability, and quality of life of communities throughout Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter for its dedication to community service, education, and advocacy, and commends the organization for its ongoing contributions to the people of Georgia. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Community Associations Institute-Georgia Chapter.
