A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Councilwoman Tara Graves on her outstanding public service; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Tara Graves has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as evidenced dramatically by her tireless dedication to ensuring that Stonecrest is one of the most desirable cities in DeKalb County; and

WHEREAS, she has committed herself to enhancing the community of Stonecrest through ongoing beatification and development initiatives, contributing to a clean, vibrant, and well- maintained city; and

WHEREAS, Tara Graves' significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, Tara Graves' vision and unyielding commitment to City of Stonecrest has set the standard for public service; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Tara Graves for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Tara Graves.
