WHEREAS, affectionately known as MAGA to those who know and love her, Joanne Celeste Landrigan Gardner consistently demonstrates integrity, compassion, faith, and leadership in both her words and actions; and WHEREAS, Joanne was united in love and marriage to Jack Otto Gardner on April 19, 1952, and together they established a life of shared purpose in Douglasville, Georgia; and WHEREAS, the devotion, patience, and understanding she has demonstrated has provided the foundation and framework of success from which all of her family members have developed and flourished; and WHEREAS, Joanne is blessed with 13 children, 39 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; and WHEREAS, a woman of deep and abiding faith, Joanne opens her home, the Benton House, to bible lessons, passionately uplifting and teaching the Word of God; and WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Joanne Celeste Landrigan Gardner and extend their sincere best wishes for her continued health and happiness.
