By: Representatives Gambill of the 15th and Scoggins of the 14th
A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Cartersville Middle School competition cheerleading team for winning
the 2025 GHSA Class 4A State Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Cartersville Middle School competition cheerleading team has established
and maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and
academics; and
WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team
a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable
2025 campaign, the team captured another state cheerleading championship title; and
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding
athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the
team and the astute direction of coaches Raelyn Knight, Alyson Audler, and Tristyn
Patterson; and
WHEREAS, this all-star team included Bridget Jennings, Brooklyn Roman, Grace Velis,
Hadley Watkins, Kennedi Burnett, Kennedy Mullinax, Sadie Burris, Aubree Clements, Zoe
Temples, Yarey Ramos, Aliyah Dely, Allie Beth Thompson, Bella Williams, Charlotte
Stanfield, Emily Womack, Ivy King, Rae Fulton, Tessa Jacobs, and Reid Fulton; and
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is
abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate the the Cartersville Middle School competition
cheerleading team for winning the 2025 GHSA Class 4A State Championship and extend
best wishes for their continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Cartersville Middle School competition cheerleading team.
