House Resolution 1283
By: Representatives Seabaugh of the 34th, Cooper of the 45th, Gullett of the 19th, Parsons of
the 44th, Ehrhart of the 36th, and others
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and congratulating Dominique Verville, Miss Cobb County 2026; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Dominique Verville won the title of Miss Cobb County 2026 at the 67th annual
Miss Cobb County Scholarship Competition; and
WHEREAS, in June, Dominique will represent Cobb County in the Miss Georgia
Competition in Columbus, Georgia, where she will have the opportunity to advance to the
Miss America Competition; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of her exemplary performance, she was awarded the Susan
McGary Scholarship and the Carley Vogel Talent Award for her lyrical dance to "Always
Remember Us This Way"; and
WHEREAS, Dominique is employed as an Aviation Insurance Underwriter with Old
Republic Aerospace in Kennesaw, Georgia; and
WHEREAS, she holds a private pilot license and was previously elected President of the
War Eagle Chapter of Women in Aviation and spokesperson for the Auburn University
Department of Aviation; and
WHEREAS, Dominique is a passionate advocate for her Community Service Initiative: Heart
for Heroes: Serving Veterans and Military Families; and
WHEREAS, Dominique brings great pride to herself, her family, Cobb County, and the State
of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor the remarkable achievements of this
outstanding Georgian.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize Dominique Verville, congratulate her upon winning
Miss Cobb County 2026, and extend their sincere best wishes for her continued health,
happiness, and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Dominique Verville.
