100th, Barrett of the 24th, and others
A RESOLUTION
Commending Grace Lee upon winning the spring 2025 Girls Golf Championship; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS, Grace Lee of Lambert High School achieved outstanding performance in the
spring 2025 golf season; and
WHEREAS, at the 2025 GHSA Class 6A State Golf Championship held May 19-20, 2025,
Grace Lee shot 69-66 (-9) for a two-round total of 135 to secure the individual girls medalist
title for Class 6A; and
WHEREAS, her performance contributed significantly to the Lambert High School Girls
Golf Team's overall team score of 421 (-11), earning the 2025 Class 6A girls state team
championship; and
WHEREAS, by winning this championship, Grace Lee continued a tradition of excellence
in the Lambert golf program and demonstrated dedication, skill, and sportsmanship worthy
of formal recognition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend Grace Lee for her exemplary achievement as the 2025
Class 6A State Girls Individual Golf Champion as well as extend best wishes for continued
success both on and off the field.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Grace
Lee.
