House Resolution 1351 By: Representative Kendrick of the 95th A RESOLUTION Recognizing 2026 Tech Demo Day at the state capitol; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the third annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held in 2026, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and WHEREAS, this exciting event will celebrate high school students from Shiloh High School for their high achievement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM); and WHEREAS, Tech Demo Day brings together several stakeholders throughout the state to discuss various tech topics and invites students to learn about impressive new developments in technology; and WHEREAS, the entire State of Georgia benefits from employment growth and wages resulting from a thriving technology industry; and WHEREAS, it is imperative that people of all races and cultures be included in the growing field of technology and this event will promote that inclusion; and WHEREAS, participating studnets are Dante Roberts, Tania Hidalgo-Valencia, Luis Fernando Huerta-Garcia, Shikchhya Rai, Dulani Davis, Marcus Thomas, Jairo A Villalobos, Evelyn Andrade Torres, Chelsea Bartley, and Carlos Scott; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that these outstanding participants be appropriately recognized and thanked for using their innovation and creativity to make our state a better place to live and work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize 2026 Tech Demo Day at the state capitol and commend and thank all those involved in this important event for their efforts of behalf of this state. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to those participating in 2026 Tech Demo Day at the state capitol.
