A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Ivan Soto for his outstanding artistic talent and dedication to
the visual arts; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Ivan Soto is an exemplary fifth-grade student at Norcross Elementary School
in House District 96, demonstrating exceptional talent and creativity in the visual arts; and
WHEREAS, Ivan is a skilled cartoon artist who explores diverse drawing styles with
remarkable imagination and technical skill, creating characters with intentional storytelling
and meaningful narratives; and
WHEREAS, Ivan approaches his artistic practice with maturity and dedication beyond his
years, valuing the complete creative process from conceptualization through execution to
thoughtful revision; and
WHEREAS, Ivan's commitment to artistic growth reflects the values of perseverance,
creativity, and continuous improvement that distinguish young artists of exceptional promise;
and
WHEREAS, Ivan proudly embraces his Mexican and American heritage, enriching his
artistic perspective through his bilingual abilities and bi-cultural identity; and
WHEREAS, Ivan's art teacher at Norcross Elementary School recognizes him as an
outstanding student whose creativity, imagination, and dedication inspire both peers and

expressing deep gratitude for his mother and two sisters who provide unwavering

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Ivan Soto for his exceptional artistic
talent, dedication to his craft, and bright promise as a young artist, and extend best wishes
for his continued success in all future artistic endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ivan
Soto.
