A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Atlanta Community Food Bank for its partnership efforts in Douglas County and its continued commitment to combating food insecurity throughout the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the ongoing challenge of food insecurity affects working families, seniors, veterans, and children across Georgia; and
WHEREAS, the Atlanta Community Food Bank plays a vital role as a critical regional partner supporting local food pantries, faith-based organizations, and community agencies; and
WHEREAS, its coordination of logistics, volunteer mobilization, and community partnerships strengthens food access in Douglas County and throughout the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, the Atlanta Community Food Bank's leadership ensures that families receive nutritious food with dignity and respect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the Atlanta Community Food Bank for its partnership efforts in Douglas County and its continued commitment to combating food insecurity throughout the State of Georgia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
