A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Fellowship of Christian Officials; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Fellowship of Christian Officials (FCO) is a distinguished 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting sports referees and umpires across all athletic disciplines; and
WHEREAS, the FCO seeks to empower its members to lead by example, upholding the highest standards of integrity and Christian values both on and off the field of play; and
WHEREAS, the FCO supports sports officials at integrating Christian faith and values into their professional work, aiming to glorify God through the platform of officiating; and
WHEREAS, the organization provides a vital support system for officials, offering spiritual encouragement and fostering a faith-driven community that strives to reflect the character of Christ; and
WHEREAS, through their commitment to faith-based leadership, FCO members serve as ambassadors of the Gospel, utilizing their roles to positively influence athletes, coaches, and spectators alike.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the Fellowship of Christian Officials and extend sincere best wishes for continued growth and success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Fellowship of Christian Officials.
