House Resolution 1410

A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the Georgia Green Industry Association; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Georgia Green Industry Association is a state-wide trade organization for the horticulture industry in Georgia; and

WHEREAS, members of the Georgia Green Industry Association include professionals in the landscape trade, irrigation contractors, wholesale nursery growers, greenhouse operators, retail garden centers, flower growers, and allied sales companies; and

WHEREAS, the Georgia Green Industry Association serves as the umbrella association for this state's entire horticulture industry, providing leadership and advocacy for agriculture businesses and enthusiasts; and

WHEREAS, the Georgia Green Industry Association and its members will be present at the capitol on February 17. 2026, to speak with elected officials in order to promote and advance the economic lifestyle and environmental benefits of horticulture in Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the Georgia Green Industry Association for its commitment to Georgia horticulture.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Georgia Green Industry Association.
