31st, McCollum of the 30th, and others
A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the North Hall High School girls cross country team for winning the 2025
GHSA Class 3A State Cross Country Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the North Hall High School girls cross country team has established and
maintained a proud tradition of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics;
and
WHEREAS, excellent play, superior teamwork, and extraordinary resilience made this team
a spectacular one to observe throughout the season, and as a fitting finale to its remarkable
2025 campaign, the team captured its second consecutive state championship; and
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding
athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the
team; and
WHEREAS, this superlative team included sophomore Summer Muxlow, the GHSA 3A
State Champion, and sophomore Ealyn Kennedy, who finished on the All State Podium in
3rd place; and
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is
abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate the North Hall High School girls cross country team
for winning the 2025 GHSA Class 3A State Cross Country Championship and extend best
wishes for their continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
North Hall High School girls cross country team.
