A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Andrew Collinson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Andrew Collinson, of Gainesville, Georgia, is a youth runner for the national nonprofit organization Running 4 Heroes; and
WHEREAS, through his involvement with Running 4 Heros, Andrew has exemplified the ideals of leadership, respect, and selflessness while honoring our nations fallen first responders; and
WHEREAS, he runs in tribute to first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty, carrying a Thin Line flag representing their department; and
WHEREAS, following each run, a video is posted to YouTube and the flag is mailed to the department, accompanied by a personal letter to be delivered to the family; and
WHEREAS, Andrew's exceptional character and dedication distinguish him well beyond his years; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable and accomplished Georgian be appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Andrew Collinson and extend their sincere best wishes for his continued health, happiness, and success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Andrew Collinson.
