WHEREAS, Ariel Hibbert is a driven Biology Pre-Health student with a passion for medicine, patient advocacy, and healthcare innovation; and WHEREAS, in 2022, along with her two peers, Aubrey Allen and Jasmine Stamper, she co-founded Telepsy, an app for individuals with epilepsy; and WHEREAS, the award-winning app is used to aid individuals in managing their epilepsy by providing information and tools that can be used to make a difference in their daily lives; and WHEREAS, Telepsy has features such as the ability to locate nearby hospitals based on your current location, appointment reminders for doctor visits, a seizure timer, and direct access to emergency services like 911; and WHEREAS, a multi-scholarship recipient, she is recognized for her dedication, resilience, and commitment to service, particularly within underserved communities; and WHEREAS, her hard work and dedication have recognized through numerous prestigious awards including the 2024-2025 President's Lifetime Achievement Award as well as was the 2023 Congressional App Challenge Winner and 2022 HOSA International Leadership Conference Medical Innovation 1st Place Winner; and WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Ariel Hibbert and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ariel Hibbert.
