A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Jessie Woo; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Jessie Woo is a viral comedic sensation on social media, television and red
carpet host, actress, content creator, and singer; and
WHEREAS, known as Korra Obidi, she started her dance career in 2007, featuring in a song
by Nigerian female rapper Sasha P.; and
WHEREAS, she was 2025 BET Awards Live Pre Show Co-Host, Former Dish Nation on
FOX Co-Host and a comedian on Wild N Out as well as an actress on ALL BLK’s A La
Carte series as Misha; and
WHEREAS, in the past four years, she has amassed an audience of over 800,000 Instagram
followers, over 500,000 on Facebook, and millions of views across platforms; and
WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Jessie Woo extend the most sincere best
wishes for continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jessie
Woo.
