The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Georgia House resolution formally commends Turner Crawford, Pepperell High School's 2025-2026 STAR Student, for his academic achievement.

### Plain-language summary

This is a ceremonial resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives honoring Turner Crawford, a student at Pepperell High School, for being named the school's 2025-2026 STAR Student. The STAR Student program recognizes the student with the highest score on one administration of the three-part Scholastic Aptitude Test who also ranks in the top 10 percent or top ten students of his class.
The resolution also notes that Crawford chose teacher Johnathan Silver as his STAR Teacher in recognition of Silver's support during his high school years. The House formally commends Crawford and directs the Clerk of the House to prepare a copy of the resolution for him. The resolution does not change any Georgia law; it is a formal statement of recognition.
