A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Reagan Moore; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Reagan Moore, a 16-year-old rising junior at Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, was crowned Miss Georgia's Teen 2025, representing Miss Northwest Georgia's Teen at the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition; and

WHEREAS, Reagan earned Preliminary Awards in both Talent and Evening Gown during the 2025 competition, showcasing her poise, dedication, and excellence; and

WHEREAS, Reagan's crowning as Miss Georgia's Teen 2025 came with a scholarship award and recognition for her outstanding performance throughout the competition; and

WHEREAS, through her community service initiative "Dance, Fit, Uplift," Reagan has used dance and movement to promote physical, emotional, and mental wellness among youth and senior citizens, embodying leadership and service to others; and

WHEREAS, as Miss Georgia's Teen, Reagan will go on to represent the State of Georgia at the Miss America's Teen National Pageant, a scholarship-based competition that celebrates scholastic achievement, leadership, and community impact; and

WHEREAS, Reagan's accomplishments bring pride and positive recognition to her school, family, community, and the State of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, her commitment to empowering others, academic excellence, and service exemplifies the highest ideals of youth leadership and civic engagement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Reagan Moore for her remarkable achievements as Miss Georgia's Teen 2025, her award-winning performance in competition, and her dedication to community service and leadership. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body extend their best wishes to Reagan Moore as she represents Georgia on the national stage at the Miss America's Teen competition and continues her journey of impact, purpose, and excellence. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Reagan Moore.
