A RESOLUTION

Congratulating and commending Lady Libby J. Pollard for receiving the 2026 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, in 1999, Representative Nikki T. Randall became the first African American female elected to the General Assembly from middle Georgia, and over her 17 years of service as a legislator, she held numerous leadership positions, including chair of the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus; and

WHEREAS, every year during Women's History Month, the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus recognizes outstanding women in Georgia who exemplify the leadership and inspiration embodied by Representative Randall; and

WHEREAS, Lady Libby J. Pollard, affectionately and respectfully known as Lady Libby, is a proud Atlanta native and graduate of Hoke Smith High School and Draughons College in Atlanta, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, in June 1991, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Dr. Gregory L. Pollard, Senior Pastor of the Enon Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and together, they have been blessed with two daughters of the King, Gabrielle Elayndra and Danielle Cartier; and

WHEREAS, after a distinguished 20-year career in the medical field, Lady Libby transitioned into full-time ministry alongside Pastor Pollard; and

WHEREAS, Lady Libby is the driving force behind Enon's Health and Wellness Ministry, where she has partnered with ministry leaders and healthcare professionals to host on-site community events providing flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, health screenings, and blood drives to the South Fulton community; and

WHEREAS, she currently serves as Co-Church Administrator, providing daily operational oversight and strategic leadership to the ministry, serving the congregation and surrounding communities with excellence, grace, and diligence; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this extraordinary servant leader be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate and commend Lady Libby J. Pollard for receiving the 2026 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award and extend best wishes for her continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Lady Libby J. Pollard.
