A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Nakira Middleton, professionally known as Kiki Chanel, for
her outstanding contributions to broadcasting and community engagement; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Nakira Middleton, professionally known as Kiki Chanel, has distinguished
herself as a respected radio personality and assistant program director at 96.7 FM in South
Georgia, where she brings music, culture, information, and inspiration to listeners throughout
the region; and
WHEREAS, through her weekday on-air presence, she has provided a dynamic platform that
entertains, informs, and connects diverse audiences across South Georgia; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her role behind the microphone, Ms. Middleton has demonstrated
strong leadership in the broadcasting industry by assisting in programming, producing
content, mentoring aspiring media professionals, and contributing to the operational
excellence of her station; and
WHEREAS, her journey into radio reflects perseverance, creativity, and dedication to her
craft, serving as an inspiration to young people and aspiring broadcasters who seek to make
their mark in the media industry; and
WHEREAS, through her voice and influence, she has helped elevate local culture, support
community initiatives, and strengthen connections among listeners, businesses, and
organizations across the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Nakira Middleton (Kiki Chanel) for her
excellence in broadcasting, her leadership in media, and her positive impact on the
communities she serves.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Nakira Middleton.
