A RESOLUTION
Congratulating Breyana Anyaegbunam upon being named the 2025–2026 Youth of the Year
for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Breyana Anyaegbunam has been named the 2025–2026 Youth of the Year for
the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, the organization's highest honor
recognizing leadership, service, academic excellence, and commitment to character; and
WHEREAS, Breyana Anyaegbunam is a dedicated student at Carver High School, where she
has demonstrated strong leadership as an active participant in the Junior Reserve Officers'
Training Corps, earning the respect of her instructors and peers for her character, discipline,
and civic-minded approach; and
WHEREAS, her leadership journey has been shaped by perseverance and personal growth,
as demonstrated by her decision to begin playing soccer during her sophomore year without
prior experience, overcoming her self-doubt through sustained effort and ultimately serving
as team captain after five seasons of commitment; and
WHEREAS, through athletics and mentorship, Breyana Anyaegbunam has used her
experience to encourage her teammates to communicate openly, trust themselves, and pursue
growth with confidence; and
WHEREAS, as further testament to her dedication to service, she aspires to become an
elementary school teacher, with a particular interest in supporting students with special
needs; and
WHEREAS, as Youth of the Year, Breyana Anyaegbunam will represent the Boys & Girls
Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley in state-level competition, serving as an ambassador for
club youth and giving voice to the positive and lasting impact of the organization; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this exemplary student-leader be
appropriately honored during this special time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body congratulate Breyana Anyaegbunam upon being named the
2025–2026 Youth of the Year for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley and
extend best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Breyana Anyaegbunam.
