A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Ms. Ann Webb for her unwavering faith, dedicated ministry,
steadfast service to her family and community, and for her outstanding example of resilience,
leadership, and love; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Ms. Ann Webb, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been a proud resident
of the State of Georgia since 1987 and has faithfully called Clayton County home since 2004;
and
WHEREAS, she is a devoted mother and loving grandmother of three grandchildren, whom
she is raising with extraordinary commitment and care; and
WHEREAS, she became guardian to her two eldest grandchildren when they were infants
and has lovingly nurtured them into young adulthood, both set to graduate from high school
in May 2026, and most recently assumed guardianship of her youngest grandchild, now five
years old; and
WHEREAS, her greatest joy is found in watching her grandchildren grow, thrive, and walk
confidently in their purpose; and
WHEREAS, with more than 30 years of ministry experience, Ms. Ann Webb has faithfully
answered God's call through numerous leadership and service roles, including coordinating
Women's Conferences and Family Enrichment Conferences, leading Prison Ministry and
Women's Shelter Ministry, overseeing ministerial staff, directing Prayer Ministry, serving
as a Hospice Chaplain, teaching New Members Classes and Adult Sunday School, officiating
Sunday worship services, and ministering through song as a member of a professional
recording choir; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her extensive ministry service, she retired in 2021 from a CPA
firm, where she exemplified excellence, discipline, professionalism, and integrity; and
WHEREAS, balancing career, ministry, and the profound responsibility of raising her
grandchildren later in life, she has remained steadfast in faith and unwavering in
commitment; and
WHEREAS, when asked how she has managed these responsibilities, she humbly proclaims,
"nothing has been easy, but God continues to be good and faithful to us. He is the only one
who has taken care of us and kept us, especially during the most challenging times"; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Ann Webb's life is a powerful testimony of resilience, obedience,
faithfulness, and unwavering trust in God, and she continues to serve with grace, wisdom,
and a heart fully committed to God and to the people she is called to serve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Ms. Ann Webb for her remarkable
service, steadfast faith, and enduring contributions to her family, church, and community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ms.
Ann Webb.
