A RESOLUTION
Commending Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree for her outstanding achievements in the culinary
arts, her entrepreneurial leadership, and her commitment to promoting Georgia agriculture
and community wellness; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree is an accomplished chef, restaurateur, and
community leader in Middle Georgia whose passion for Southern cuisine and dedication to
service have elevated the region's culinary landscape; and
WHEREAS, she is the Founder and Executive Chef of Her Majesty's Kitchen & Catering in
Forsyth, Georgia, where she has built a thriving restaurant and catering enterprise known for
its Southern cuisine and New Orleans inspiration; and
WHEREAS, Chef Green-Ogletree has demonstrated a strong commitment to youth
development and nutrition through her service as Executive Chef at St. Joseph's Catholic
School in Macon; and
WHEREAS, Chef Green-Ogletree was recognized for her culinary excellence and
competitive skill as she was crowned Champion on the Food Network's Chopped during the
Superhero Chef episode; and
WHEREAS, her leadership, entrepreneurship, and advocacy has supported Georgia's
agricultural community, empowered aspiring chefs, and encouraged young people.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree for her exceptional
contributions to the culinary arts, her leadership in promoting Georgia agriculture, and her
steadfast commitment to strengthening communities through food and service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Chef
Chelsia Green-Ogletree.
