House Resolution 1564
By: Representative Moore of the 91st
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Charlotte Wright; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Charlotte Wright, a 2026 Showtime Pros Cotillion debutante, is the
accomplished daughter of Mrs. Karin Wright and Mr. Marcus Wright; and
WHEREAS, through her participation in the 2026 Showtime Pros Cotillion debutante
program, Charlotte Wright has been supported and encouraged to grow in strength, character,
confidence, and purpose; and
WHEREAS, she is currently a junior attending Rockdale Magnet School for Science and
Technology, where she is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Speech and
Debate, Peer Tutoring, and serves as the President of the Rockdale County High School
Student Council; and
WHEREAS, in her free time, Charlotte adores puzzles, writing, and research as well as
volunteering at her school, where she demonstrates lab equipment to future students; and
WHEREAS, each debutante completed a minimum of 10 hours of community service and
maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.9; and
WHEREAS, throughout the program, the young women participated in transformative
workshops and experiences designed to challenge and inspire them; and
WHEREAS, a defining moment of the season was their visit to the Georgia State Capitol,
where they were recognized during the legislative session and had the opportunity to speak
on issues important to them–demonstrating that their voices matter and their purpose is
already in action; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding young woman be
appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Charlotte Wright for her unwavering
commitment to service, leadership, academic excellence, and community involvement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Charlotte Wright.
