A RESOLUTION

Honoring the life and memory of Cheyenne "Alyssa" Speegle; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of Cheyenne "Alyssa" Speegle, who passed away on February 23, 2026, after a life that, though too brief, was filled with love and meaning; and

WHEREAS, Cheyenne "Alyssa" Speegle was born on April 11, 2022, at 3:03 PM, weighing three pounds and seven ounces and measuring nearly 17 inches in length, the beloved daughter of Annette and Jeffrey Speegle; and

WHEREAS, she was welcomed into a loving family as the cherished sister of Logan Mathews and Kyle Speegle; and

WHEREAS, during her three years, 10 months, and 12 days of life, she brought immeasurable joy through her smiles, giggles, cuddles, and the love she so freely gave; and

WHEREAS, though her time on this earth was limited, the love she inspired and the memories she created will endure in the hearts of all those who had the blessing of knowing her, and her life will forever remain a treasured gift to those she leaves behind.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory of Cheyenne "Alyssa" Speegle and express their deepest and most sincere regret at her passing. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the family of Cheyenne "Alyssa" Speegle.
