A RESOLUTION
Honoring Brad Carr for his exemplary leadership as Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Brad Carr has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state, as evidenced dramatically by his superlative service as Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce in 2025–26; and
WHEREAS, a proud native of Tucker and rare lifelong resident of metro Atlanta, Brad Carr has established a reputation as an excellent corporate law attorney through his service as a partner and former managing partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr in Duluth, Georgia; and
WHEREAS, he is a distinguished Georgia Bulldog who holds two diplomas from the University of Georgia, where his tenure as a professor of business law, member of Phi Beta Kappa, and president of his fraternity has left an enduring impact; and
WHEREAS, he further serves his community as a faithful member of Norcross First Global Methodist Church as well as a leader in the North Georgia Walk to Emmaus; and
WHEREAS, Brad Carr is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and pillar of the community whose dedication to American values has been formally recognized by the Boy Scouts of Gwinnett County; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Brad Carr for his efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Brad Carr.
