A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Najah Aziz; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, through her passion for hairstyling, Najah Aziz has established herself as a world-renowned beautician whose expertise has been sought after by countless clients and fellow industry professionals; and

WHEREAS, Najah Aziz has dedicated the last 10 years to her role as the owner and master stylist of Like The River Salon, Atlanta's premier hair care destination known for its innovative approach and exceptional service; and

WHEREAS, her success stems from her exemplary dedication to community service, strict professionalism, and timeliness as well as her discernment in building a talented team of licensed stylists who uphold these values daily in their work; and

WHEREAS, with a social media reach of over 360,000 Instagram followers and 322,000 Facebook followers, Najah Aziz has built a powerful platform as a leading stylist, educator, and trusted advocate for top-tier hair care products; and

WHEREAS, as additional testament to her unparalleled skill, she successfully completed a three-week residency in London last year, during which she taught an exclusive industry masterclass and booked clients from across the United Kingdom; and

WHEREAS, beyond styling, Najah Aziz is dedicated to giving back by donating services to women's shelters, special education students, and cancer survivors, earning recognition in numerous publications for her philanthropic contributions; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable individual be appropriately honored during this special time.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Najah Aziz for her many outstanding career accomplishments and contributions on behalf of others as well as extend best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Najah Aziz.
