A RESOLUTION
Honoring Dr. Karen Johnson-Moore and Elder Howard E. Moore as recipients of the 44th
Presidential Legacy Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Trinity Girls Network Corp.
and Trinity International University of Ambassadors; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Black History Month is a sacred observance dedicated to honoring African
American leaders whose lives reflect courage, resilience, faith, innovation, and a steadfast
commitment to advancing communities and uplifting humanity; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Karen Johnson-Moore and Elder Howard E. Moore have each demonstrated
extraordinary dedication to spiritual leadership, community transformation, and generational
empowerment through decades of faithful service; and
WHEREAS, Elder Howard E. Moore has served faithfully in ministry for many years,
offering pastoral leadership, biblical teaching, spiritual counsel, and mentorship that has
strengthened families, fortified congregations, and cultivated emerging leaders - standing as
a pillar of integrity and unwavering faith within the community; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Karen Johnson-Moore, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, exemplifies
excellence shaped through perseverance and scholarship– earning academic distinction,
pursuing higher education at a Historically Black College or University, and building a
distinguished 25-year career in the technology industry as a Computer Science professional
and strategic leader; and
WHEREAS, her professional success evolved into global ministry entrepreneurship
following a transformative spiritual encounter that revealed the dynamic intersection of
biblical principles, leadership development, and personal empowerment; and
WHEREAS, as Founder and Executive Administrator of A Gathering of Women, she has
united women internationally in fellowship, discipleship, and leadership training,
empowering them to grow in faith and resilience; and
WHEREAS, through "Covenant Partners," she has strengthened marriages globally by
equipping couples with biblical guidance rooted in her own enduring marital testimony; and
WHEREAS, through "Sistahs for Life," born from her courageous battle with breast cancer,
she has advanced life-saving breast cancer awareness and early detection advocacy on an
international scale; and
WHEREAS, together, Dr. Karen Johnson-Moore and Elder Howard E. Moore represent a
unified legacy of faith, family, entrepreneurship, ministry, and community service–
demonstrating that true leadership produces lasting transformation across generations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body proudly recognize and honor Dr. Karen Johnson-Moore and Elder
Howard E. Moore for their lifetime of ministry excellence, community impact,
entrepreneurial innovation, and global humanitarian leadership as well as congratulate them
upon the grand occasion of receiving the 44th Presidential Legacy Lifetime Achievement
Award presented by Trinity Girls Network Corp. and Trinity International University of
Ambassadors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.
Karen Johnson-Moore and Elder Howard E. Moore.
