A RESOLUTION
Recognizing Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Tri Mu Chapter, for its longstanding service and
contributions to Douglas, Paulding, and Carroll Counties; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., are committed to the uplift of their
communities through the fraternity's internationally recognized principles of Manhood,
Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift; and
WHEREAS, the fraternity has left a meaningful impact in Douglas, Paulding, and Carroll
Counties though dedicated and passionate community engagement initiatives, including
mentorship initiatives, scholarship programs, civic engagement efforts, youth development
activities, and charitable outreach; and
WHEREAS, the organization has had a positive impact on families, students, and community
institutions throughout the region; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity,
Inc., are commended for their continued commitment to service and leadership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Tri Mu Chapter, for its
longstanding service and contributions to the communities of Douglas, Paulding, and Carroll
Counties.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
