A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Dr. Terry L. Hudson II; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Dr. Terry L. Hudson II is a United States Army veteran and Georgia resident
who honorably served on active duty as an Intelligence Analyst, deploying in support of
Combined Joint Task Force—Operation Inherent Resolve in Kuwait and earning two Army
Commendation Medals for meritorious service to the nation, an Army Good Conduct Medal,
a National Defense Service Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and an Army
Service Ribbon; and
WHEREAS, following his military service, Dr. Hudson continued to serve the nation by
supporting sensitive national security missions in both deployed and stateside environments,
providing security oversight that safeguarded personnel, information, and critical operations
for federal agencies and United States Army commands; and
WHEREAS, as a federal civilian employee at Fort Benning, Georgia, Dr. Hudson assumed
significant responsibility in sensitive, high-trust security environments during periods of
organizational transition, ensuring continuity of operations, compliance with national
security requirements, and uninterrupted mission support; and
WHEREAS, in his current role as Senior Garrison Security Manager and Security Specialist
for the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security on Fort Benning, he is
entrusted with garrison-wide security oversight affecting thousands of military personnel,
Department of the Army civilians, and contractors across multiple directorates; and
WHEREAS, through his leadership and initiative, Dr. Hudson has strengthened the garrison's
security posture by improving compliance processes, reducing operational backlogs,
enhancing accountability, and supporting sustained readiness while serving as the sole senior
security professional for the garrison; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson's service is further distinguished by his academic achievements,
including a Doctorate in Forensic Sciences, which he applies to his professional
responsibilities to promote analytical rigor, risk awareness, and continuous improvement in
public service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend Dr. Terry L. Hudson II for his efficient,
effective, unselfish, and dedicated service as well as extend the most sincere best wishes for
continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.
Terry L. Hudson II.
