By: Representatives Mathis of the 133rd, Hagan of the 156th, Hitchens of the 161st, Chastain
of the 7th, McDonald III of the 26th, and others
A RESOLUTION
Commending Corporal Daniel Baldino and Corporal Dylan Warren; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Corporal Daniel Baldino and Corporal Dylan Warren serve with honor and
distinction with the Telfair County Sheriff's Office; and
WHEREAS, both men are honest and dedicated public servants who strive for excellence in
all of their endeavors and whose primary concern is the welfare and safety of the citizens of
Telfair County; and
WHEREAS, on March 5, 2026, Corporals Baldino and Warren along with fellow officers
Captain Bobby Solomon, Sergeant Macy Deen, Deputies Chris Holland and Jacob Johnson
of the Telfair County Sheriff's Office as well as Officer Kaleb Knowles of the McRae-Helena
Police Department responded to an emergency call regarding a vehicle that had been driven
into the creek; and
WHEREAS, without hesitation, Corporal Baldino, Corporal Warren, and Officer Knowles
selfless shed their duty gear and entered the water to rescue the victim; and
WHEREAS, fortunately, a small pocket of air inside the vehicle allowed the victim to breate
until help arrived and successfully removed her from the vehicle, saving her life; and
WHEREAS, Corporal Baldino and Corporal Warren have exhibited extraordinary devotion
to duty, outstanding loyalty, fine leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in all of thier
duties; and
WHEREAS, thier inspiring commitment to the welfare of others is an outstanding example
of the positive effect law enforcement professionals have on the lives and well-being of
others; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that gratitude is expressed for the unique and
often unheralded contributions of local law enforcement professionals on behalf of the
citizens of this state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend the care, courage, sympathy, and selfless dedication
exhibited by Corporal Daniel Baldino and Corporal Dylan Warren in carrying out the
difficult duties of thier vocation and express their utmost appreciation for having so purely
and truly defined for others the meaning of public servant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to
Corporals Daniel Baldino and Dylan Warren.
