WHEREAS, Fannie Brown was born on March 11, 1926, in Palmetto, Georgia, and this year she enjoys the rare distinction of celebrating her 100th birthday; and WHEREAS, over the past century, Fannie Brown has become a true pillar of the Palmetto community, and today she stands as a living testimony of service, perseverance, dignity, and love; and WHEREAS, she is a founding member of J.S. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Fannie Brown for her unselfish, dedicated, and loving service to the members of her family and community; congratulate her on the remarkable occasion of her 100th birthday; and extend their most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.
