Baldwin Elementary School; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Beauty P. Baldwin Elementary School is named in honor of Beauty P. Baldwin, who made history as the first Black woman to serve as a school superintendent in the State of Georgia and whose legacy of leadership and educational excellence continues to inspire students and educators alike; and WHEREAS, the school proudly hosts chapters of the National Beta Club and the National Elementary Honor Society, both of which recognize and promote high academic achievement, leadership, character, service, and citizenship among elementary school students; and WHEREAS, membership in these distinguished organizations is a reflection of students' dedication to excellence in the classroom, commitment to service within their community, and the development of strong character and leadership skills at a young age; and WHEREAS, a group of fourth and fifth grade members of the National Beta Club and National Elementary Honor Society from Beauty P.
